1. Social Responsibility of Education: Between Dilemmas and Possibilities

This dossier proposes reflections on the Social Responsibility of Education at different levels and territories, focusing on the impact of teaching, research and extension in the construction of a fair, equitable and inclusive society. It invites the academic community to discuss, from a historical perspective, educational practices that promote social justice and overcome historical inequalities, bringing new perspectives to the role of education in social, cultural and economic development.

2. Art and Revolution: What Color are the Red Carnations of April?

Commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Carnation Revolution (1974), this dossier explores the artistic and political impacts of this period in Portugal, Brazil, Portuguese-speaking African countries and internationally. It analyzes how music, literature, theater, cinema and other artistic expressions approached the newly-won freedom, discussing the relationship between art and politics, the new emerging themes and the international repercussions of this revolution. Organizers:

3. Possible Theology of Others

Focused on indigenous peoples in the colonial Latin American context (16th to 18th centuries), this dossier integrates indigenous history and theology, addressing theological, missionary and legal documents that deal with "indigenous otherness". Valuing texts in native languages, it seeks to understand debates on conversion, resistance and slavery, in addition to exploring connections between theology, philosophy, law and anthropology in the history of ideas and religions of native peoples.
