Investigating the popular universe in culture and communication fields implies entering a maze. Various theoretical currents, whether from the sociological or anthropological perspective, have tried to fit it into a definition. All were dated. Today it is an ambiguous, controversial and contemporary theme. It does not fit into a rigid concept. It accepts several interpretations. And its contemporaneity lies in the fact that it implies thinking about consumer society, mass culture and subjects - producers / recipients of symbolic representations.Downloads
