Docent professional identity: a construction historic-socio-cultural

Abstract

This text analyzed research results schools environment and related to the teacher education, more specifically analyzed a thesis results, that worked with narrative auto-biographic, that investigated the identity-forming life history of four teachers. The thesis taking part in the study that were involved in previous master research which worked ethnographic analysis, describing the practice of the teachers and their representation on limits and discipline in the classroom. On the text we reflect on the perspective of the identity construction as an integrated process, dynamic, flexible and instable. At this sense we emphasized the influenced factors in the didactics/pedagogy approaches of the educational professionals who are participated in that research are tied to their identity formation based on their historic-socio-cultural trajectories. We also stressed the relevance this experience to be considered in the teachers formation classes as well as in the well succeeded experiences of the teachers in continue formation.
