Images of sex: the false borders of the erotic and the pornographic

The concepts of "erotic" and "pornographic" are commonly used to demarcate films with sex scenes that can be seen by the general public and those that are limited to an underground market. This essay critically analyzes this division and proposes another, more appropriate for a critical view of the power games involving the audiovisual industry.Downloads
