The present work seeks to highlight the relationship between communication and the arts and its implications for the forms of perception and intervention in reality. The chosen object lies at the border of these areas: the performance work of the American artist Laurie Anderson, who explores the interfaces art, culture, language and technology. Anderson's uses of oral communication and technology indicate the possibility of interesting subversions and re-readings of dominant practices and discourses.Downloads
