The article focuses on the problematic of the Quality of Life of the family caregivers of youngsters and adults with severe multiple disability, users of the Portuguese Association of Cerebral Palsy (APPC Faro), Algarve, Portugal. The methodological design of the study is a qualitative, descriptive study. The evaluation tools used were the socio-demographic data questionnaire and the QOL assessment Scale WHOQOL-Bref (WHOQOLGroup, 1994; Portuguese version by Vaz Serra et al., 2006). In terms of results, some of the variables studied show some influence on the quality of life perception of family caregivers of youngsters and adults with severe multiple disability.
