The current speech on Human Rights is characterized by the ambivalence. Both proclaimed and denied, they constitute a fundamental reference for the democratic construction. There is a growing conviction that if they’re not internalized into the individual and collective mentalities, the culture of Human Rights won’t be constructed in our society. And, in that horizon, the educational processes are very important. This work is part of the research “Education on Human Rights in Latin America and in Brazil: historical genesis and nowadays reality”. We focus especially on the different meanings of the expression education on Human Rights and on the challenges for the training of the educators. We defend the thesis that following this perspective it is essential developing processes that allows both articulating different dimensions and using pedagogical participative and collective construction strategies which make possible educate on Human Rights.Downloads
