Abstract

This article is concerned with Michel Foucault´s ideas about communication. Drawing on his thought, it also discusses certain pratices related to new media, for example, blogs, and new TV products, for example, reality-shows.

Ieda Tucherman, Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro

Possui graduação em Comunicação pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (1973), mestrado em Comunicação pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (1979) e doutorado em Comunicação pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (1991) e Pós doutorado pelo Ircam- Centre Georges Pompidou ( 2003). Atualmente é professor Titular da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.
