Extraterrestrial contact is a good example of what intelligent life is possible on planet Hollywood. It would have everything to be just another film-show so to the taste, in this decade, of the contemporary audiences mobilized by the action and technological pyrotechnics and that suppose to be the humanity a mere composite of nerve sensations. However, the good script, based on homonymous work Of Carl Sagan, allows a complex and nuanced reading of different - not necessarily exclusive - answers given to the possible forms of knowledge of reality, examines the tense relations between political-institutional commitments and the search for truth and, above all, Poetics forgotten in these times of legitimation by efficacy.Downloads
