Abstract

This article starts from the question to reflect on the relationships between researchers and interlocutors, based on reports of experiences from the authors, researchers and members of the Escrevivendo a Liberdade project. The text also seeks to bring perspectives from other researchers, as interlocutors in this reflection. The work reported here was, and some is still being, carried out at UERJ, UFRJ and UFRGS. This study takes place through dialogue with authors who deal with the issue of deprivation of freedom, self-writing and ethics, such as Conceição Evaristo, Antonio Candido, Michel Thiollent, and David Tripp; others who think of education and prison as a place where abolitionist theses are welcome; and also some researchers in the field of Education, where school and university are discussed, from a progressive and inclusive place, such as Paulo Freire and bell hooks. Current authors, important in the discussion of anti-racism and issues of prejudice, which permeate the social fabric, are brought to reflection. Agendas that contribute to the cause of extrication, towards a proposal to think about teaching and research practice for the consolidation of Human Rights.
