This article is the result of a dissertation and aims to share the methodology used, considering its contributions to the field of educators formation. The qualitative methodology of participatory nature was carried out through the circle dialogues, accomplished with the support of diaries elaborated by all the participants of the research: the students of a class of primary education and the educators of an institution of non-formal education. This proposition originates in the researcher's experience as a member of the Cultural Circle of Freirean Readings, promoted by a research group at the university. Comes out of the experience of the researcher in this trilogy of circles – the university, the school and the non-formal education area – the comprehension about the formative potential of the Freirean thought to orient the reflection on the practice in the circle dialogues, in view of constituting emancipatory educational processes for both learners and educators.
