Abstract

The reflection which takes beginning teachers as its axis of analysis has been getting growingly implanted in many countries. This study focuses the trends of anaysis of that theme, especially outlining higher education teaching in a context of expansion of access to that level of schooling. How do young teachers integrate to teaching activities? What has been studied in the field of introduction to teaching that could impact university? Such questions mobilize in-depth investigation, attempting to explicit the importance of the theme both pedagogically and politically

Author Biographies

Maria Isabel da Cunha, UNISINOS

É professora do Programa de Pós Graduação em Educação da Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos. É professora titular aposentada da Universidade Federal de Pelotas onde foi Pró Reitora de Graduação e Coordenadora do Programa de Pós Graduação em Educação. Possui mestrado em educação pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do RS e doutorou-se em educação pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas. Tem estudos de pós-doutoramento na Universidade Complutense de Madri.Dedica-se, enquanto pesquisa, à área da formação de professores e à pedagogia universitária. Possui diversos livros, capítulos e artigos publicados. Entre eles é possível destacar O bom professor e sua prática, resultado de sua tese de doutorado. Participou da Comissão Nacional que produziu o Sistema Nacional de Avaliação da Educação Superior (SINAES). Possui Bolsa de Produtividade em Pesquisa do CNPq.
