Resumen

Aunque los estudios contemporáneos y la filosofía de la tecnología han esclarecido la tecnicidad constitutiva de lo humano, a menudo dejan de lado cuestiones relacionadas con la formación social moderna y la alienación. Por otro lado, los diagnósticos teórico-críticos de la modernidad tienden a tratar la tecnología principalmente como razón instrumental. Este ensayo explora programáticamente la tensión entre el enfoque relacional que la posfenomenología adopta respecto de la mediación tecnológica y la crítica de la modernidad de Hartmut Rosa. Al introducir el concepto de fricción como discontinuidad constitutiva en las relaciones con el mundo mediadas técnicamente, el ensayo sostiene que la dinámica escalatoria de la modernidad reduce las fricciones a obstáculos que deben superarse. Al poner de relieve la fricción de la mediación, el ensayo esboza una crítica de las relaciones con el mundo mediadas tecnológicamente orientada a la rehabilitación del potencial vinculante y transformador de la fricción.
