The role of digital television systems In the knowledge economy

This paper analyzes the characteristics of knowledge, as factor of economic production, in relation to culture and communication disseminated by information and communication technologies. The constant changes within society, of the system and the logic of capitalist production, from the increased technology, became the knowledge, a key piece in the “new economy”. Considered as the main force of production, knowledge is embedded in this logic, creating a cycle similar to the production of goods. Based on the assumption that knowledge is a force divided into stages of production, this paper will focus the stage of dissemination of knowledge, with emphasis on models of digital TV.Downloads
