This essay confronts the double nature of the movie image and the univocal image of the court of justice, particularly in two recent Brazilian movies: Juízo, maior exige do menor, de Maria Augusta Ramos, e Jogo de cena, de Eduardo Coutinho. This approach allows us to think about the place of the spectator who faces to the contemporary midiatic images and to address questions such as the systems of representations, ways of producing the truth, as well the relationships between these movies and the work of Kieslowski, Kiarostami e Makhmalbaf.Downloads
