This article analyses the Church as granter of God’s mercy in the world, especially by means of the reconciliation sacrament; her Christ gives the power to forgive the sins. This sacrament makes possible the sinner’s reconciliation with God and with the Church whose member he is. In the sacrament of reconciliation the Christian wounded by the sin lives the hope of pardon which brings interior renovation in his relations and true peace. God’s mercy in the life of the Church is a sign that it is possible a new human being and a new world by means of reconciliation.Downloads
