Teacher training and device group: learning and imaginary significations in the biografic space

Abstract

The Research and Study Group in Education and Social Imaginary – GEPEIS – has come to question about the importance of the group space for the professor formation. We direct towards getting to know the possibilities of considering the group as a formation tool, identifying knowledge and the representations built by the people that share the experience of the collective production in a research and study group; also, contributing for the support of the theoretical alternatives in the professor formation field. Through the different subject formation paths we aim at cognizing learning, the imaginary significations and the possibility of perceiving the group as a formation tool. The diversity as a positive factor in the group, the exchange of ideas and thoughts, the acquired learning and life experiences that this collective space is able to provide was a strong characteristic which was mentioned by the subjects once we analyzed the results.

Valeska Fortes Oliveira, UFSM

Licenciada em Pedagogia pela Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (1986), Mestre em Educação pela Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (1990) e Doutora em Educação pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (1995). Atualmente é Professora Titular, do Departamento de Fundamentos da Educação, do Centro de Educação da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria. É professora credenciada no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação, integrando a Linha de Pesquisa:Formação, Saberes e Desenvolvimento Profissional. Participa do Comitê Científico do GT 08: Formação de Professores da ANPED. É líder do Grupo de Estudos e Pesquisa em Educação e Imaginário Social - GEPEIS e vice-líder do Grupo de Estudos e Pesquisa em Imaginário, Educação e Memória da UFPEL-RS. Desenvolve pesquisas e projetos de formação nas temáticas:Imaginário social, Educação Básica e Superior, Formação Inicial e Continuada. Pós-Doutora em Ciências da Educação (2007) pela Universidade de Buenos Aires (Argentina).Pesquisadora de Produvidade em Pesquisa do CNPq. Participa do Convênio CAPES-GRIECE entre Brasil e Portugal representando a Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, realizando missões de trabalho nas Universidades de Lisboa e do Porto, em Portugal sobre Pedagogia Universitária, coordenado no Brasil, pela profa. Dra. Maria Isabel da Cunha.
