This work has the theme of futurism, understood as narrative, in its communicational and mediatic dimension. In this sense, we observe the talks called TED Talks, as paradigmatic center of a culture that combines narrative production, entrepreneurial culture and the intention to inspire, to mobilize audiences for a transformation. The object of analysis is the lectures by Juan Enriquez – a self-proclaimed futurist, of constant presence on the stage of global TED Talks –, to understand the problem: how the future is construc TED as inspirational discourse and what are its relations with the contemporary entrepreneurial culture? The analytical perspective is the social discourse analysis, as a way to look at the materiality of language in the construction of the place of speech and the rhetorical strategies identified with futurism. The result of the analysis shows a great narrative of future based on entrepreneurial rationality, in a call of the human species to the self-entrepreneurship.
