Abstract

Armand Mattelart has been conducting an audacious project: to write the history of the media, the theories that involve them and the communication processes under the most different aspects. From the point of view of the Brazilian reader, it was the turn of the World-Communication (Petrópolis, Vozes, 1994). Now, Loyola launches this History of theories of communication. It is still missing The mondialization of communication, of 1996, that already received Spanish translation but it finds unpublished between us.
