O negro na literatura brasileira

Abstract

O negro e sua negrura/negrícia, tal como inscritos em nossa literatura. De objeto a sujeito, o negro de papel e tinta, ora pelo olhar do branco, ora construído por suas próprias mãos. O trabalho realiza um percurso crítico pelos momentos principais de presença do negro na literatura feita no Brasil, com ênfase em duas vertentes – a canônica e a afrodescendente –, com vistas a cotejar as imagens e retratos que delas emergem.

The black in Brazilian literature

The black and his blackness as entered in our literature. From object to subject, the black paper and ink, sometimes by the look of the white, well built with their own hands. The work performs a critical path for key moments of the black presence in the literature made in Brazil, with emphasis on two aspects – the canonical and the african descent – with a view to collating the images and portraits that emerge from them.
