This project “Connections with Champagnat: a pastoral curriculum” was developed in the Marist Social School Unit Lucia Mayvorne, located in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina. It was inspired by the author’s 1st module of the Hermitage Course, in which she created a document that guides and provides opportunities for didactic application about Marcellin Champagnat and the Marist Institution, within the National Curriculum Base in each subject of the components of Elementary School II. This experience was motivated by the Unit’s pastoralist and was applied by the teachers. The project produced results that brought students and teachers closer to the history of the Marist founder and his institution.
