Author Biography

Odilon Caldeira Neto, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS)


• Doutor em História pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) com estágio (Junior Visiting Fellow) junto ao Instituto de Ciências Sociais da Universidade de Lisboa (ICS/UL). Em Portugal, foi bolsista da Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian. 


É autor de Sob o Signo do Sigma: Integralismo, Neointegralismo e o Antissemitismo (EdUEM, 2014). Coordenador da rede de investigação Direitas, História e Memória. As pesquisas têm ênfase em História do Brasil República e do Tempo Presente, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Extrema-direita, Direita Radical, Neofascismos e Antissemitismo.


◦ PhD in History from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) with a Junior Visiting Fellowship at the Universidade de Lisboa (ICS/UL), granted by Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. He is the author of “Sob o Signo do Sigma: Integralismo, Neointegralismo e o Antissemitismo” (EdUEM, 2014). Coordinator of the research network “Right-wings, History and Memory”, his research has emphasis on the History of Brazilian Republic and Present Time, focusing on the following topics: Extreme-right Radical Right, Neo-fascism and Antisemitism.
