Léxico geopolítico e ordem no Leste Asiático: da Ásia-Pacífico ao Indo-Pacífico?

Resumen

El proceso de reordenamiento del poder global tiene efectos distintos en Asia Oriental, con el surgimiento de un nuevo marco geopolítico expresado en el término Indo-Pacífico, que busca suplantar al tradicionalmente concebido Asia-Pacífico. La investigación cualitativa y exploratoria analítica presenta los orígenes estructurales de la nueva visión del orden regional, analizando sus limitaciones a la luz del imperativo histórico de seguridad económica de Asia Oriental. Se concluye que la reconceptualización en el Indo Pacífico, que responde a la reorganización del escenario regional impulsada por Beijing, es aún frágil al no alinearse con los fundamentos sociales que caracterizan las Relaciones Internacionales en el Este de Asia.
