Abstract

 

 Nesta conferência, o autor apresenta a sua visão de uma república mundial. Inicialmente explicita a sua concepção de globalização, desenvolvida mais detalhadamente em seu livro Democracia na era da globalização, para depois apresentar e refutar cinco objeções ao seu projeto de uma sociedade mundial.
