A questão do “subjugai a terra”em Gn 1,28
Keywords:
Genesis 1.28. Ecology. Subdue the Earth.Abstract
From a brief analysis of the beginning of Genesis is shown that the terms “subdue” and “have dominion” of Gn 1,28 should be understood as cultivate and have care. The article presents some references and comments from recent studies in which is shown that the original meaning of the texts has to be found in the Babylonian captivity. And its concern is to overcome the idolatry and to highlight the human being as the center and master of all things. However, in the present context, the same text allows another interpretation: the task of taking care of everything for peace and human life.Downloads
