O ecumenismo nos Padres da Igreja

Abstract

In this article is shown the importance of oecumenism in the view of the Church’s Fathers. They had to study intensively the Christian truthes concerning the ecclesiological division and the trinitary haereses, related, specially to the Son and the Holy Ghost. Oecumenism intended the unity of the Church which in the first seven centuries made possible one unique comprehensionin, East and West. The oecumenism of the Fathers may illuminate the actual situation aiming unity of the faith and the Love to Jesus Christ.
