This research aims to highlight the importance of synodality in the life of the Church, as a fundamental element for its evangelizing action in today's world. This is bibliographical research, whose problem was formulated as follows: how to facilitate an ecclesiological vision in tune with the Magisterium of the Church in the face of the challenges of the present? This theme was already present in the first Christian communities, was highlighted by Vatican II, and returned to circles of reflection, in a strong and vigorous way, in the pontificate of Pope Francis. We understand that thinking about a synodal Church is fundamental today, as it involves the entire current ecclesiological vision in pastoral dynamics and challenges today. Therefore, this topic becomes important for the Training of future priests, especially linked to the pastoral-missionary dimension, proposed by the Guidelines for the formation of priests of the Church in Brazil. The expected results will seek signs of synodality in the text of the Guidelines and in the training process as a whole, in order to highlight clues and means of concrete application of synodal dynamics in the lives of trainees throughout the entire process.
