Abstract

Considering the recent tensions between theologians and bishops, specially with the Roman Curia, the author explains the function of the bishops’ Magisterium and that of the theologians in the Church, defending the thesis that they are different but complementary services, as well necessary for the life of the Church, as it is shown in the history.
