Abstract

From the perspective of theological anthropology, the human body is not a part, sort of disposable, of the human being. We are body. This reality is expressed literary in the Diary of a Body, by the French writer Daniel Pennac. For being a literary work in no way agreeing with a Christian view (on the contrary), it can contribute to an impartial approach from previous conclusions. Considering this perspective, it is important to understand how, and why, bodily experience is essential for our self-understanding.
