O Paradigma do Dom
Abstract
Abstract
We understand better God’s grace as a characteristic of the Christian salvation, when we compare it with the grace or the gift passing from person to person in human societies. The human experience as a locus of experience of the grace is a methodological necessity for theological understanding. The anthropological study about the manners of gift and the institution of the paradigm of the gift make easier the understanding of God’s grace pervading the human relations. Marcel Mauss and the antiutilitarian movement in social sciences by means of the examples of traditional cultures and our daily life illustrate this relation between the divine grace and the gift among groups and human persons.
