Scatological Aspects in the Thought of Gregório of Nissa

The eschatological turning in the twentieth century by the liberal Protestant theology brought a challenge to the Catolic theology regarding the topic eschatology. The Primitive Church in the first two centuries considered the end of the world and the return of Chist eminent, and made the announcement about the resurrection of Jesus Christ. In the tird century, Irineu of Lion arises with the terms: Recapitulate and fulfillmente of the history in Christ. The fourth century contemplates the reveille of the trinitarian controversies, in which the Cappadocian Fathers are important in the creation of the language. The text develops a theological understanding of eschatology cappadocia giving relevance to the nissena contributions. It does a brief explanation of the thought of Basil of Caesarea, and Gregory Nazianzus concerning eschatology and then develops eschatological aspect of the thought of Gregory of Nyssa.Downloads
