Bible text and Roman Catholic Church: approaches pastoral

Abstract

The text is part of a qualitative research on the historical use of the biblical text in pastoral. Linked from the early Christian era, spanning the period medieval, renaissance, modern and contemporary, this brief historical study is assumed for other phases of research pastoral use of the Bible. Significantly by the fact that over the centuries the use of the biblical text was accompanied by several questions about who and how to interpret it considering the tradition and teaching, so that there was a restriction on the text for most Christians. It is a long story which presents some nods to raise new issues, especially regarding the place of Scripture in the Church’s pastoral today, especially in the pastoral school.
