Abstract

The study of communication is characterized by its imbrication with different disciplines, which demands from the student and reseacher of this area a comprehensive view of the scientific knowledge produced in this field. Luís Mauro Sá Martino gets, on publication Teoria da comunicação: ideias, conceitos e métodos, to present a panorama of the discipline in a clear and didactic language, in a construction that allows the reader to build knowledge as entering in the text.
