The association made by Rafael Souza Silva between "zapping" and reading newspapers is, in fact, very interesting. Controle remoto de papel. O efeito do zapping no jornalismo impresso diário incites curiosity from the first glance at its subtitle. "Zapping" a newspaper? Essentially, it does not make a comparison between television and digital media, for example, in which one would look into the act of zapping. It refers to that preliminary reading of a newspaper, a sort of "scanning" (the scannable, by Morkes and Nielsen), as a form of "zapping".
