Abstract

The twentieth century is characterized by the civilization of the image, according to Huyghe (1986), making the images the means of expression due to their own writing and reading. The iconographic alphabet differs from the conventional alphabet. Through their reading and interpretation they pass through several peculiar and individual codes, whose communication will depend on the reader's recognition of the emotional meanings and impacts translated by the imagistic representation.
