Communication, language, Humberto MaturanaAbstract
The biologist Humberto Maturana, internationally known for the creation of the term autopoiese, also speaks of language and communication. Its theoretical model is that of the living being as a closed system. Hence his controversial propositions, such as that in communication, no information is transmitted, there is no difference between perception, illusion and hallucination, and that language operates without any reference to external reality. It's a new look at communication with both intriguing and challenging propositions.Downloads
