The book The Brazilian Imaginary and Peripheral Zones follows the itinerary of the social sciences of understanding the meaning of contemporary existence from the perspective of the Sociology of Art. For this, men are conceived as genuinely creative beings, and art is the place where impressions of the world crystallize. Art allows man to expand his inexhaustible capacity for imagery and this comes from the fact that it is a form of expression of the imaginary. Unique language of the imagination that encourages us to understand who we are and how we are, art allows us to unveil our habits, our desires, our diverse feelings and dreams
