Virtual environments (VEs) and virtual reality (VR) are the focus of the work developed by Ken Hillis in Sensações Digitais . Based on his doctoral thesis in human geography at the University of Wisconsin, in Madison, the author states his greatest motivation in researching this subject: the need to reflect on the ethics between humans and machines and the implications that new information technologies can cause.Downloads
