From neo-baroque aesthetics: fragments of studies for the appreciation of cultural productions

Abstract

This review presents the ideas of Maricéia Benetti contained in the book Da estética neobarroca: fragmentos de estudos para apreciação de produções culturais. The author seems to stroll through discursive routes, examining probable and unpublished paths, testing creative abductions against the genius that recovers from the teachings of Walter Benjamim, and then theorizing about the receiver of this neobaroque creation.
