Abstract

Reprint of the work of Michel Maffesoli, L'ombre de Dyonysos, resulted in a Brazilian edition, translated by Rogério de Almeida, under the title A Sombra de Dioniso. The book was released by Zouk in 2005, with 160 pages. The work, which highlights the resurgence of emotions and the fall of rationalism, gets its name from the author’s belief that the current period is infested with multiple identifications, with people assuming several faces.
