This paper gathers arguments and situations that hold the need about the reflection about the “new human city”, joined to a new concept of citizenship capable of encouraging proactive communication practices, in which the urban space becomes the subject of political appropriation and emotional territory. It is a perspective to be contemplated in the scenario of growing barbarism and conservatism, which we call “uncivil society” and we consider symptomatic in the context of the bankruptcy of the liberal project launched by a whole set of narratives produced in the media, Government, and institutions.
