Abstract

This article refers to the visual constructions of the graphic novels of the French illustrator Philippe Druillet and his fictional universes. It analyzes the images found in his work Yragaël, identifying the postmodern graphic characteristics that distanced it from modernist visual canons, enabling new forms of meaning and visual communication.
