The intention of this article is to focus the effects of agenda in relation to public opinion. For this purpose, the publication of a controversial theme in the month of January 98 was used as an object of study, through which signals were detected that reinforce the idea of the power of influence processed by the media. Researcher Mauro Wolf gives a brilliant analysis of communication theories.
