Pasolini. Modulations of filmic forms

This article is a dialogue with some of the writings of Pasolini about cinema, especially with the conversations recordings of transcriptions made at different times of footage in “The Voice of Pasolini” published in 2000 in Madrid, and texts, from 1957 to 1974, collected in a book by Cahiers du Cinema, in the writings on cinema, when Pasolini speaks of clashes in the construction plans with the inclusion of light in certain scenes and way of directing actors. It is to understand how filmic forms respond to the demands of the director who makes a modulations film of matter in the world, worked in a few frames in dramatic climaxes in formulations of gestures in the assembly and precise camera movements with the aim of inscribe a shape in the clash with the over-exposure of light on the bodies.
