Mapping of Television Journalism Researches in Brazil: a study about academic and scientific production from 2010 to 2014

From a contextualization of television´s and TV news´ reconfigurations nowadays, this paper presents a mapping of television journalism researches in Brazil. It reveals the state of the art of television newscasts under different approaches, identifying its main institutional and regional representations, issues discussed and theoretical-methodological references adopted. This study consists in a contribution to the continued improvement of the investigations in this field of knowledge, whereas analysis of the means of production, distribution and consumption of TV and news programs in distinct local and national contexts, collaborate to the understanding of television journalism as a relevant cultural phenomenon in contemporary times.Downloads
