Public policies and regulation of audiovisual (2012) was launched in a year of transformation for the Brazilian audiovisual. Law 12.485 - also known as the Pay-TV Act - finally comes into force and the film industry lives the developments of more than a decade since the creation of the National Film Agency, ANCINE. At the global level, the audiovisual seeks to understand its space with the proliferation of different windows, means of production and consumption. In this sense, the book brings together different discussions - current and necessary - to understand and think the direction of the audiovisual production chain in Brazil, with all its difficulties and challenges facing an unpredictable and ever changing scenario.
