This paper illustrates how researches on journalism can be performed through the metaporic paradigm of communication, namely the study of the role of media in synchronism with the occurrence of the own communication Event. For this we use the example of the movie Wag the Dog (1997), which chronicles the fictional construction of a political event aimed at re-election of U.S. president.Downloads
