O presente trabalho trata da questão da imortalidade da alma, um tema com o qual o ser humano se ocupa há milênios, tanto no âmbito da religião como no da filosofia. Inicialmente, define-se o que se entende por imortali-
dade e, num segundo momento, aborda-se essa questão em dois expoentes da filosofia antiga, Platão e Plotino.
