Abstract
O pentecostalismo nasceu dos evangélicos, no início do século XX, nos Estados Unidos e na Inglaterra, os quais se separaram das Igrejas da Reforma, na crença da próxima vinda de Cristo e da necessidade do batismo no Espírito Santo.
