Characterization of the character Moses through the analysis of the dialogues of the narrative Exodus 5,1-6,1

This research proposes the exegesis of Exodus 5,1-6,1, based on its Hebrew text, contained in the critical edition of the Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia (BHS), in order to highlight the harmonic and disharmonic aspects in the portrayal of the characters involved in the narrative of Exodus 5 in correlation with other relevant passages from the book of Exodus. This approach, essentially literary, of synchronous nature, will value the final form of the text, but will also take into account some relevant historical, archeological and socio-cultural research about the Hebrew and Egyptian people during the Iron Age, the period in which the text was drafted and an attempt was made to portray it in the narrative.Downloads
